Hi,
I have just joined this site. I am a 63 year old widow. I retired from work 4 years ago, I was a mechanical fitter for Rolls-Royce. I am of slim build and I try to live a healthy lifestyle. I like walking in the countryside with my Jack Russell/Yorkie cross dog. I am looking for a companion for days out, dining and visiting interesting places. I would love to share these experiences with someone special. I live near Derby. I help out at a model railway exhibition where I help build the layouts and talk to the visitors on open days. I like rock music, I have been keen on this since my mid teens. Honesty is important to me, I am looking for friendship first, though I am open to the possibility of long a term companion. I think it is important to have respect for people and I am a good listener to what people have to say. I am not quite sure why my profile has come up with the name Buddy as that is my dogs name. I suppose it could have been worse though!
I would describe myself as a tactile person and I know it is very important to have respect for peoples feelings. It is good to have a laugh and joke but not at someones expense.
I am generally an easy going person and am willing to learn new things. It is important to me that I am looking for a single unattached lady. My Wife passed away a year ago and I have been on my own since then. I feel the time is right now to look for a companion.
