About her
I am a gentle, curious person with an analytical mind, originally from Canada. I have just moved from the Peak District to Stratford upon Avon and would love to meet someone who lives around here.
I have been a widow for four years. I used to be quite adventurous, travelling to and living in several countries, and learning languages (in addition to French) like Spanish, Turkish and six years of Mandarin. I lost my wanderlust (it may return though) but not my curiosity about people and cultures.
I have been blessed with two fantastic kids and three beautiful grandchildren.
I spent my career in marketing and then business consultancy. I am pretty much retired, but I still do some occasional work as a business coach, which I enjoy. I have an MBA but I am also a literature graduate and am looking forward to the cultural life of Stratford.
I love cooking and baking for loved ones and playing piano. I keep myself as fit and healthy as possible and discovered that if I use my exercise bike at night I sleep pretty well!
I have a feisty little cocker spaniel who requires lots of walking daily, which I do. She also feels that cats are an abomination, and has warned me to keep away from cat owners, for health and safety reasons.
