I'm a fun, caring guy with a realistic outlook on life. I have 2 grown up daughters who live away who are my world.
I try to keep fit, love being outdoors and enjoy walking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching and photography and would be willing to try new hobbies as long as my feet are generally on something solid!
I also enjoy travelling and sight seeing (UK and abroad) and have bought a camper van to hopefully do more exploring once the weather improves. I'm not generally one for laying on the beach but appreciate that its good to relax and recharge the batteries now and again.
I enjoy live music, mainly rock but have eclectic tastes. I have regularly seen the Foo Fighters so that's a bonus if you like them too! I love live music, especially stadium gigs with my 2 grown up daughters as it creates such fun, wonderful memories.
I also like watching live sport and regularly support my local rugby team.
I was fortunate to retire early but fill my time more than easily and I also volunteer part time for an animal charity. I don't have pets of my own but often walk and look after a dog for a friend.
So whilst I'd rather be outdoors I'm equally happy snuggled up on the sofa watching something good on TV, or out socialising with friends .
