I am kind, considerate, caring, dependable, companionable, affectionate. I have a fairly small circle of friends but they are all true friends who I would go to the end of the world for. I have now lived in Cumbria for over half my life since moving from Lancashire with my job. I don't play any sport anymore but as a proud Lancastrian I do follow cricket keenly.

I love the outdoors, wind and rain in Autumn, cold and bright in Winter, rejuvenating in Spring and hopefully shorts and tee shirt weather in Summer and know the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales well, the North Pennines and Northumberland too. I visit Scotland a few times a year and in all these areas I have found some really special places that I love to return to. I am interested in birdwatching and photography which also tends to happen in lovely places. I would like to meet someone to share all these places with, those moments of sitting and staring, someone to relax with. A smiley person, special to be with - is that you, I hope so.
