About him
I'm a recently retired, but young at heart man, who wants to make the most of his free time and share much of it with a soulmate.
I like most things - but especially travelling, socialising, sport, music, films and theatre - and am also open to new experiences. I have Golf Club and National Trust membership.
To relax, I love walking, reading, listening to music and watching TV.
I have a scientific background, have respect for wildlife, have been environmentally aware for many decades, and try to keep my carbon footprint to a minimum.
Socially, I am always the one for the witty comment and occasional dad joke (hope that doesn't put you off!).
I also have a bit of a bucket list, which I'm happy to share or compare with you ;-)
About his ideal match
My ideal match would have most (not necessarily all) of the above qualities:
- An outgoing type (loves walking, gardening, socialising etc)
- A relaxed attitude to life
- Gives respect, where due, for everyone
- Is romantic and sensual
- Wants a soulmate as a partner, but also respects free time (quality over quantity time)
- Is reasonably health conscious
- Is happy to try/share new experiences
- Is willing to compromise
I am not totally averse to a casual fling (so long as we know where we stand), and am happy to engage with anyone just as a friendly companion for mutual activites (walking/hiking, NT visits, dancing partner etc) - but I am ultimately looking for someone to be a long term partner.
