About her
I'm thoughtful by nature and enjoy being with friends and family as well as time on my own. I enjoy art exhibitions and galleries/museums, classical music and opera, cinema, theatre, also some more popular music. I have just seen the John Singer Sargent exhibition showing at Tate Britain which I very much enjoyed and have been fortunate enough to view galleries across Europe. I read and listen to Radios 3 and 4. I am reasonably well-travelled, having travelled widely across Europe, also have family on the Continent, speak and understand a second language and am comfortable in other cultures. I have hiked in the Austrian and French Alps as well as the Cascade Mountains in Western Canada and the Canadian Rockies and have travelled off the beaten track a fair bit, also have visited NYC. I have a good circle of long-time friends whom I try to get to meet when time allows and am open to making new friends. I re-trained and and am now qualified to teach the world-renowned educational technique practised by classically trained musicians, actors and other performers to help them use their bodies optimally during their performances. For the rest of us it offers an opportunity to reconnect with our natural sense of balance, movement and co-ordination. If this sounds too serious, I'm also fun-loving.
Important to me are values rather than what you look like on an online dating photo, although I will confess to being attracted to reasonably good looks, but personality and some common interests which we could share are far more important. I appreciate that first there has to be a mutual attraction so certainly am not wearing any rose-tinted spectacles, am a firm believer in chemistry, failing that am very open-minded when it comes to meeting new friends.
