Lively and open to new ideas, people, and adventures, I love news and current affairs, theatre, cinema (more recently), fiction, sunshine, box sets, kitchen bridge, dog-walking with friends (their dogs, I have a rehomed cat), and entertaining around a laden table where noisy conversation thankfully distracts from the food, which is hit or miss despite years of honing the craft... My two brilliant daughters are now following their own stars and I'm slowing to smell the roses. It's a new adventure. Who am I, what's out there, and in which direction do I turn to catch the sun? I still work/write, chair a couple of small boards, and duck and dive to maintain chocolate stocks. My manner is confident and direct which is exciting or challenging depending on your sensibilities.
