Time for a change in direction, because I've worked all my life and would really like a stinking-rich lady to retire me off to warmer climes please (see 'ideal match' below). In return, I could be loyal, very attentive, appreciative, quite cheap to run and wouldn't require much pocket money. Friends I daresay, could describe me...that is, if I had any! Can scrub up when told, and can be relied upon to behave in public, when told...may occasionally misbehave in private! I'm fitter than I deserve to be now that habits of a lifetime no longer apply. I'm comfortable in my own skin which is understandable since it's been with me since very early, and still fits quite well...considering. As for chemistry, they didn't allow me to do it without physics, so I get the two mixed up (and I'm supposed to be an engineer!) My glass is neither half full nor empty, largely because I don't think it's even been poured yet! All in all it's quite true to say that you could take me anywhere...the sooner the better! (If you've read down thus far, you must be mildly unhinged also, so let's give it a go! Either we'll bond instantly, or we'll be so incompatible it'll be hilarious!). NB; I like dogs but not in a silly way... and I do have many interests other than attempting to convey just how wonderful I am on here! I enjoy fine dining and witty conversation (serious topics too). Not essentially a prerequisite to share, but I have a couple of motorbikes and classic scooters. I toured Morocco for a month over xmas '22 on one and believe me, it was very enlightening! Don't fly unless absolutely necessarily ie, long haul. Haven't been to any of the Nordic countries yet, nor Canada or Baffin Island. Perhaps we can share notes... PS; Photos are not recent, it's what I will look like in 5 yrs time (..not the 16 yr old on the scooter nor the 4 yr old in the towel). The best ones, are very private and by invitation only...but you have to take them.

About his ideal match?
Dry sense of humour but not the sort of bone-dry that cuts you to the quick. Ability to savour a good crisis when it's staring you in the face. Full-mouth preferred but not enhanced by surgery (nor any other attributes for that matter!), and Tattoos?...why?
If you're still reading this you either:-
a) Can't believe how prescriptive these requests are.
b) Have an uncontrollable desire to read on and grimace.
c) Actually meet all of these criteria but sit askance, whilst curious that anyone of sound mind could dream all of this up!
d) Really have nothing better to occupy your time, therefore now would be a good time to send a message which could be either complimentary/friendly/critical/hostile/ abusive...so long as you don't really mean it!
When you get down to the nitty gritty, it strikes me that the whole point of these platforms is to increase visibility, so by stipulating geographically countrywide or even worldwide, we are reducing the odds of finding a good fit, immeasurably. Otherwise, we might as well all pile into M&S or Waitrose on whatever night singles night is (is there really such a thing?). That also applies to purely platonic relationships arising from all this - discuss.
Please note, if all you're looking for is a penfriend (predictive actually corrected to 'pan fried'), then please resort to FaceAche or Twiddler or some other time-wasting platform. This is serious stuff for some of us!
