Most people will agree that life is just so much better if you share it with the right person, and I would love to meet someone who is interested in a long term loving relationship and whom I can grow old disgracefully with, in other words a partner in crime!

I live in a beautiful part of the world but find myself walking alone with my 2 smallish rescue dogs when I would much prefer to be in the company of an intelligent, perceptive and considerate man who can make me laugh and doesn’t take life - or himself - too seriously.
I retired five years ago after a professional life in clinical research and am taking full advantage of the freedom I now have. I have an eclectic taste in literature and keep fit through Zumba, Callanetics, and line dancing. My interests are varied and include history, wildlife and current affairs. I enjoy a varied social life and take an active part in local events.
