Apparently I haven't said enough so now I have gone to the verbose extreme!
Its the things that money can't buy that are priceless, the feel of someone's hand in yours, a hug when you need it.
I am youthful and energetic for my years, where have they all gone, raising two boys that's where - whoosh!
I exercise and watch what I eat without being precious. I am adventurous and keen to learn. I strive to always be kind, considerate and a gentleman. I am generous, sentimental and hopelessly romantic, I have watched Notting Hill at least ten times. The line that gets me - 'I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her'. Bill Withers singing 'Ain't No Sunshine' brings a tear to my eye.
A good sense of humour is important especially in these times. The source of a great deal of my humour is me!
I have lived a different life to that of my friends who I love dearly. I have worked in other countries, run my own business and married someone from a different culture. I suppose that I'm looking for someone who is a little different too. Looking for someone with an edge, a get up and go. High maintenance wouldn’t work for me.
I'm looking for down to earth, no pretences with perhaps a little style. I love the arts - cinema, theatre, music, art - and politically am left of centre. If you have even the slightest inkling of racism in your being, please just move on.
I was a very happy kid always laughing. I haven't had my quota of laughing in the last few years which have taught me a great deal about myself. I need a partner who won’t hesitate to tell me I’m wrong but is compassionate when the occasion requires. I also know that I must have mental stimulation. I’m not saying I’m that bright but I do need a thinking partner.
Plus, I love dogs! I don't have one but plan to be reincarnated as one, not sure which breed yet – TBD!
