About him
After a very challenging year following my wife`s death in October 2022, I am looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life.
My new philosophy is to aim to live life to the full and to say yes to any new opportunities.
I love exploring home and abroad. In the last few months I have been to Iceland on my own and also explored Oman and Canada with each of my children.
I enjoy walking, travelling, good food, reading, music and cinema, as well as a watching live rugby and cricket. I am starting to get back into running but this will be a slow work in progress!
I feel that I am loyal, caring, and supportive.
About his ideal match
I would love to share country walks, city breaks, adventurous travel, good food, nights out at concerts, cinema and theater, or sitting together on the sofa watching a great box set.
I am looking for someone who is interested in me and wants to spend time with me but at the same time, is independent and knows their own mind.

Jonathan is the perfect gentleman, he is kind and thoughtful but there's an extra layer that I think is incredibly hard to come by, and that is his self awareness. He is open and empathetic and sees the world through a lense that is really uplifting even through hard life events. As an added bonus Jonathan also cooks delicious food, eats well and takes care of himself and can even do some DIY on the side!
Jonathan's mindset to not let anything slip him by is something quite spectacular to witness, in such grief he did not allow himself to drown, again a testament to the kind of man that he is. He's ready for a new adventure now.
Jonathan's relationship with his children is enviable, if I'm half as close to my children when they are young adults as he is with his, I'll be a happy woman. He is a family man through and through.
He is so easy to be around and chat about everything and anything and we love spending time with him.
I mean this from the bottom of my heart, Jonathan is a catch and will make someone very happy, and he deserves the same in return.

Jonathan is one of the kindest people I know. Genuine, honest and trustworthy, he's an intelligent and interesting man. As well as being great at conversation, he's good at listening too. He is always keen to explore new things and has an open mind. I feel very to lucky to count him as a good friend.
