I’m a lively, warm, intelligent and kind woman - positive, good company, often funny and sometimes serious. I lead a full busy life - wanting for nothing except a good man to share and add new ingredients.
I live in some comfort in the countryside near the beautiful Norfolk coast with my Terrier🐕 . I enjoy my many good friends, entertaining , eating out, pubs, good food and wine,music,travel at home and abroad to unspoilt places and cities. Reading in front of the woodburner.
Im a retired journalist, born, lived and worked in London for most of my life on magazines and newspapers but my marriage was always more important than my career. Widely travelled for leisure- Italy and Africa particular favourites . Love Norfolk but dip into London and Cambridge for culture stuff. I’ve written a non- fiction book , volunteer at Citizens Advice and local Wildlife Trust which I really enjoy .
I’m told I look and act younger than my years , a homemaker, I’m fit energetic, no baggage just history and stories.
Widowed a while, keen to make the most of my life. I never had kids but would welcome being part of my partners family .
Love walking in beautiful unspoilt places, gardening, wildlife,birdwatching,lively banter news and current affairs, film and music from Dire Straits to Motown and Opera.
