About him
I’m honest, sincere, loyal, confident, hard working, trustworthy, optimistic, instinctive, and passionate, with an irreverent sense of humour that can see me corpsing with laughter.
I’m enjoying running my company but planning my exit strategy and hope to start winding down by the end of 2024.
I’m not one to sit around doing nothing.
I enjoy travel and there are a many places around the world that I would like to visit, from Kathmandu to a cosy cottage in Scotland. I travel widely on business, mainly to India, China, Europe and occasionally the US.
I’ve been an active sportsman all of my adult life, mainly sailing and squash but also horse riding for a few years. I pay attention to my fitness, diet and appearance.
I’m well travelled, well educated, well spoken and above all a gentleman.
I enjoy my garden, the smell of the first lawn mowing of the year, eating the first of my vegetables and still providing veg for Christmas Dinner and beyond, laying out borders with shape and colour.
I love live music, from pop/rock through to classical. I also enjoy a weekend in town taking in a show and some good food and wine.
I've enjoyed a rich and varied life thus far and hope to find a soulmate to share our future together.
About his ideal match
This is perhaps the hardest question to answer. There is such a wonderfully rich and varied tapestry of womanhood, each unique in their own way.
To focus on looks, of figure is, in my opinion to be narrow minded and shallow. Attraction is a holistic experience, instinctive, radiated warmth, chemistry...It's something that can just happen. Which is why online dating is anathema to me, but in this day and age one has to start somewhere.
I can tell you that I loves hugs, I'd love a friend as well as a partner in life. I'd like to share my love of travel, weekends away, big travel or simply snuggling up on the sofa after you or I have cooked a meal with a glass of wine and a good film, and I wouldn't mind if you helped in the garden. ;)
I've often be told to write a book about my life, but I wouldn't want to write a sequel so I'm now looking to share the final chapter.
