Here I am on a dating site for the first time in 21years. It may be a little early but time is precious. What can I say about myself? I enjoy walks, the outdoors, TV, Cinema, music and I care about the environment. I love animals of all sorts. My ideal first date would probably be in a restaurant pub or coffee shop. I only drink occasionally as I like to remember what I've done! I think I have a good sense of humour but it can occasionally be dark.I like programs like ‘Black Mirror’ or films like Brazil that have a bit of edge and provoke thinking. I’m not expecting a full on relationship to start, just some time together to see what potential there is for sparks!

My perfect match would ideally be trustworthy, honest, funny, engaging, talented, intelligent and easygoing. I know I have very high expectations! I need someone warm to share my life with who likes going out or staying in. Doing things together or doing things apart. Make space and time for my friends or family on the rare occasions when they visit but also to be easygoing if I need to go and see them (even if they live in New Zealand)! It would be nice for them to have a cat or a dog. It would be nice to both dress up and go out now and again to concerts, plays, dances, films etc.
