About him
I am an honest , caring ,warm-hearted gent who has led an eventful and rewarding life as a vet , and now am enjoying my lifelong passions of music and art.
I play violin in a symphony orchestra and sing in a local choir.
I also have joined a local art group where l continue my love of watercolour painting.
I have travelled near and far and have had cookery lessons in Thailand which have given me a liking for oriental cooking .
I love cooking for family and friends , but also enjoy fine dining with a good wine !
I also cycle in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside , often calling in to a ’local’ for a bite to eat and a drink .l have been a member of the Ramblers and recently completed the Dales Way walk of 86miles ,on which we met the most interesting hosts in the most interesting places. I try to keep fit and trim , and take care in my appearance .
I have always had an interest in classic cars and indeed own one at present .
I have over the years acquired a few DIY skills and am confident in tackling most tasks which often comes in handy when helping friends and family !
There are many places and countries l would still like to visit , and so many of life’s pleasures to enjoy .
However these experiences will be so much more exciting and fulfilling when shared with a close and loving companion. If you might like to join me on my journey , l would love to hear from you .
