About her
I have good friends and family and am pretty busy, but I would like to have someone special in my life again. I look after myself (in the best sense of this) and regularly play tennis and practice yoga (but I do not like watching any sport). Since (almost) retiring, I spend a lot of time volunteering which I find both fulfilling and interesting. I enjoy going out to eat (although I also enjoy cooking), the cinema, theatre and 'proper' talking (ie, not just chatting). I am not going to give away my faults, but some would say that one of my biggest is my over-use of brackets! My better qualities have been said to include kindness, loyalty, patience and intelligence (both academic and emotional).
About her ideal match
Although I would like someone who shares at least some of my interests, I would not expect that we would need to do everything together and I would give space (and expect the same). My ideal match would be someone fairly skilled in listening, as well as being able to talk and be honest about himself. I would like him (in time) to be happy to become involved with my family, and also to be happy to sometimes be 'doing nothing in particular' with me.
