Thanks for looking in.
I'm mainly positive, smart, reliable, kind and empathic and feel fortunate too. I'm curious and patient, with many fascinating interests such as the the study of happiness.
I engage, and nurture people, especially my son, other family members and friends. All animals are precious and interesting while my home abounds with plants.
I'm so lucky to have visited many parts of the world, (often with my son), and enjoy their diverse flora, fauna and cultures. My modest Spanish lets me mingle well in Hispanic countries and find Cuba outstanding due to its people's courage, dignity....and non-stop dancing!!
I read 'classics' for fiction, psychology, neuro-science/neurology for smart stuff, and agonise about 'world affairs' such as equality, the environment etc as well. I revel in bizarre stuff (cartoonists) and admire film directors such as Kubrick, Lean and others (but who made Tom and Jerry?)
I hunger for anything creative and enlightening, so ...neuro-science, psychology, philosophy, technology, painting, sculpting, drawing, Spanish and much more.
But music is special, from classical/opera, 'country', folk, world to blues, jazz and flamenco, ANY music really. I play a bit of flamenco/classical guitar, to the horror of other guitarists. They often suggest I take up the tambourine instead (a silent one)! My recent guitar making in Spain has led to the creation of the beautiful 'Carolina', you can see in my photo. I imagine you have your own music to tell me about. It would be nice if you could teach me to learn salsa or tango! So we'd have many tales to relate. You need to share all of these interests but would like to know yours.
Karate/Ju-jitsu are now just a memory (as are the bruises) but I still exercise hard and regularly in a gym. My photos were all taken in the last 4 months except the one including my Greek friend.

I have no ideal, just looking for a friend, a sensitive, tender, independent-minded woman, with passion in her heart and soul.
