I have known Paul for several years and can honestly say you will be hard-pushed to find a more generous, kind, absolute gentleman. In addition, Paul is the fittest person I know knocking spots off people 50 years his junior. He makes me tired just hearing what he's been up to - gym, tennis, dancing, swimming, pilates are among his regular weekly activities. He'd love to find someone who is also active and perhaps shares some of the same interests but please don't worry, he knows that getting anyone to accompany him to each of his activities is a huge ask! He loves getting out and about and going for scenic walks so if this is you too, you'll definitely have his attention.
Paul is sociable and likes to put his knowledge to test at the local quiz. He's more of a restaurant person (especially Italian) rather than a pub-goer. He likes to unwind watching the television. His choice of programmes vary. I've known him to watch current-affairs, documentaries, cooking competitions as well as dramas and sitcoms. He certainly surprised me by confessing that his guilty pleasure is Love Island! (He'll probably kill me for that one!) I guess this shows there's a lot to Paul, he's far from a one-trip pony.
Paul has not been massively adventurous when it comes to cooking. He'd love to do a cookery course but feels if he's cooking for one there's not much point. So if you hit it off, it would give him incentive to do this course. Even better if it's something that you'd be interested in too.
Paul sadly lost his wife after a long illness that saw her mental and physical health deteriorate over a number of years. Paul was there every second of every day caring for her. His devotion was heart-warming and he went over and above what anyone could expect of another person. Paul told me that he doesn't believe he was put on this earth to be by himself and is now ready to have someone in his life again who will share experiences, laughter, chats and be a companion. If romance blossoms, that would be the cherry on the cake.
