About her
Single for many years, busy with many projects, personal and professional, I've overlooked the importance of having a special person in my life. Now, in the final week of my 57th year, I am acutely aware that I am depriving myself of the happiness and fulfilment, amongst other things, that can only be found in a relationship.
I love creating new ideas, businesses, products, games and relax by writing stories, going to the club for a swim and sauna and even the gym when the mood takes me. I'm happier getting all the exercise I need from walking around the countryside right outside my door, climbing trees and playing badminton or table tennis.
I guard my mind from most things of a negative nature, no violent or scary movies, people with self serving agendas, lazy brained individuals, preferring to look for solutions and win win scenarios on a daily and global basis. My views and opinions are a mix of years ahead of the average bear and a desire to return to a time when the standards exhibited by humans' were more civilised.
I "invented" the flying car when I was 11 and am pleased to see this will now, at last, be a reality in the very near future. All good things come to those that wait. I have also believed I will one day meet someone I truly relate to, someone who instinctively brings out the very best in me and I in them. Again, all good thing come to those who wait. The flying car, though a simple enough concept, took way too long due to all the components and moving parts that needed to be developed to work together exactly. We humans are no different when it comes to the pursuit of finding the right match.

Having just reread the above, my potential match may consider me fairly serious. Not the case.
I accept at 57 I have past my pique on the looks front but, as I was ahead of the game and just didn't realise it at the time, the mirror doesn't scare me yet. I can also still outrun most 30-40 year olds, even if it's only for 45 seconds ..... 2 minutes max.
Ideally, a sort of John Wayne look with an Albert Einstein outlook would get my attention, though the other way around could also be considered.
Someone who doesn't have an issue with heights is fairly important as hot air ballooning and gliding are on my to do list.
If I had my life to live over, I would probably have pursued a career in law or architecture, so interests in these fields would be a bonus.
I don't drink alcohol, only because I like tea, milk and ribena. I don't have an issue with those that do. That said, regular (4 out of 7 days) drinkers probably aren't my cup of tea.
I hope there's someone out here ready for someone like me.
And for those who have got this far only to realise I'm not for you, I hope you find someone to bring joy to your life and thank you for not wasting our time compromising.
