About him
After years living in and around Belfast, I “escaped to the country” about 15 years ago and now enjoy a more rural and relaxed pace of life.
I have 3 rescue dogs at home with me, one of which is diabetic & blind, and one who is deaf, so they take a little looking after !!
After too many years of partying, night-clubbing and going nuts, I think my drinking days are now mainly over now, although I don’t mind the occasional tipple. But in reality, I’m now more contented taking things easy – a walk with the dogs in a lovely forest, a drive in the countryside, a day at the beach, a night in front of the fire (although I don't actually have a fire, so maybe a night in front of the radiator??) & tv or a nice meal out.
Also, just so you know, because of the dogs I don't really holiday or travel abroad. But I know there’s heaps of exploring to be done and beautiful places to discover throughout the island of Ireland, [and GB].
I’m not very materialistic or overly ambitious, I’m happy and comfortable with what I’ve got. I’m very chilled out, with a dry sense of humour and I don’t take life super seriously……………..well unless I'm attending a funeral or talking to the taxman :-D
BTW……I’m English by birth, but Northern Irish by choice; I’ve lived and worked in NI for nearly twenty-five years.
