About him
I'm an easy going sort of person with a good sense of humour who has a wide range of interests. I spent an entire career in education, initially as a primary school teacher, latterly as an advisor/consultant in a southern education authority. I've been married before and have two grown up children.
I moved to the south coast September '21 which was a new area for me and spent over a year doing up a house and gardens which are now largely finished. The biggest passion/obsession in my life is gliding which I started 32 years ago. Now that the house is finished I can take any good cross country opportunity the weather permits and try and go as far as I can and usually …….get back!
I play bass guitar and recently joined a band with my old boss whom I found out lived locally and we rehearse regularly and had our first gig in July which went well. I like cooking (especially curries) and trying out new recipes.
When I'm not flying, doing up the house or the gardens, I like to walk along the beach or in land over the downs which are beautiful.
I look after myself, I'm in good health and of slim build. I'm comfortable in my own skin and happy with my life which alternates between busy and quiet times but there is a gap. I'm engaging in this with an open mind and trying not to have too many preconceptions.
Politically left of centre, I love classical and rock music. Fav stations are: Radio 4, LBC, Classic FM, Planet Rock...recently got into Radio 6 Music. What will be will be. I'm very allergic to horses, cats and......loud people!

Someone who is "sorted", with the self knowledge to understand and be comfortable with their past and know how they got to where they are in life. Who is honest and moral with a sense of doing the right thing. Who is respectful and sensitive to the needs of others. Someone who has their own interests.....and a sense of humour. Someone who looks after herself physically and mentally. A right winger (in the no footballing sense) would be a no no for me.
