About him
I am healthy and fit, bright and humorous. Very sociable, I love sharing my enthusiasms with people, yet I also shy away from noisy gatherings and prefer to find a peaceful corner where I can talk quietly with one other. I've a strong spirit of adventure and fun, and I'm keen to travel widely, as well as set up a new home. This is because I have now been on my own and getting used to being in my state of widowhood for three years, and I am hoping to find someone to share all this with. I function best when I am in a relationship of mutual love and support. My grown-up children and two grandchildren help to keep me young and adventurous. That is the essence of me as far as I can see myself at the moment.

Prominent among them are music (of many many kinds), poetry, wild places and unspoilt nature (in all of its moods), art, running, cycling, animals (including my wonderful canine companion Larry the lurcher), theatre . . .
