About him
I am energetic, young at heart, well traveled, very capable, creative and very knowledgeable, but very perceptive.
I am semi-retired, but still run my own design studio, when I want to, and spend much of my time doing volunteer work.
I am involved with several charities at a senior level, some I chair, some I just support as a trustee, and many are very much hands on.
I am a perpetual educationalist, having been a qualified teacher, college lecturer, professor at various times, and I visit schools as an ambassador promoting science and engineering as a career.
I am very capable in DIY, gardening, construction and many other skills - think Repair Shop standard. (and still teach many of them).
I do already have one love in my life - Jack Sparra - my 13 year old labrador (still a puppy though ) but there's always room for more.
About his ideal match
I will know when I find her, I have no preconceived ideas. Being able to converse in different ways, starting with messages here, then emails, telephone calls etc is an obvious requirement.
Its a journey and I'm sure it needs time, certainly seems that way to me - just didn't expect it to take this long !
