Hello, my name is Chris.
I am 60 and retired and live in Whitehaven, Cumbria. I have been separated since May 2022 after 35 years of marriage. I live alone now in the family home and have a daughter 5 minutes up the road with 2 adorable grand children who I childmind several times a week. My son is married and lives in Canada.
I was a research chemist for all my career.
I think I am a compassionate caring person who likes to have fun and do not take myself too seriously.
Health and physical fitness are really important to me for physical and mental well being . I am a member of a running club and gym. I love the fells and the outdoors and looking for a positive person who shares an interest in fitness with a bright enquiring mind for a longterm relationship. I seek some adventure in my life but too old for anything extreme and a simple life suits me. I am not the slightest bit materialistic so don't expect exotic extravagant holidays or fancy houses and cars or even expensive hotel breaks.
I would rather not relocate at the moment because I would miss my grand children too much.
