About him
I am in my mid sixties although it is said that I do look younger. ( I am certainly young at heart and keep active.) While I am very happy with my life that I am trying to rebuild since my late wife’s sudden death in October 2022, I do miss having that special someone to share some good times with. However I am completely open minded as to what the future may hold for me.
I like to think that I am very kind, thoughtful , considerate and also caring as well as being completely genuine.. One of the good guys,, I am always a man of my word with reliability, honesty and integrity. Being very much of a gentleman, I also have "old school" values and a very good understanding of right or wrong. I also have a good sense of humour and like a good laugh.
My main interest is playing the piano although I do have difficulty in reading sheet music. Other interests include travel with Italy being one of my favourite places. I also enjoy short city breaks as well as a sunny secluded beach. In addition, I recently went on a Caribbean cruise as a solo traveller, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have also taken up gardening and I can cook for myself although I am certainly no masterchef .I also try to eat healthily, but I do enjoy a high cholesterol fry up once a week along with a good sunday roast. Luckily I have never needed to count calories and I am also in very good health .
I have 2 adult children from my previous marriage (not living with me) plus 3 adult step children (also not living with me) from my second marriage to my late wife and a grandaughter aged 7. While I don't have any pets at present , I do have a liking for dogs.
My main form of excercise is walking which I find most enjoyable, exploring the different places and scenery as well as appreciating architecture or anything else of interest in the surrounding areas, I am not really into watching or playing sports and going to a gym although I did make a serious attempt to try to play golf some years ago.

Attractive slim lady with long or longish hair ideally blonde but not essential (Preferred age range is 45 -67) with a lively bubbly personality . In addition, she may also enjoy travelling , short city breaks /weekends away and exploring differnt places. Going for walks perhaps with a nice country pub at the end or visiting maybe a National Trust property. Sunbathing on a secluded sandy beach somewhere. Hopefully as a real bonus she will also enjoy cooking but preferably not be a vegetarian or a vegan.
