Blimey, why should anyone want to get to know me? I really cannot answer in any meaningful manner. I am hoping to meet someone who may share some of my values, and enjoy time together doing things that we choose to do. I love to travel and eat out when it is a possibility. I like to cook sometimes and enjoy almost everything to eat. I do like my meat and fish dishes though! I am fancying another trip to France and just driving where the roads take me - I enjoy the French way of life in some non-political ways. At present, I am finding a new home and choose to work quite a few hours every week but will happily stop under the right circumstances. My problem is that I do want to do things alone - I want to find a companion to share with.

Civilised but with a sense of humour. Someone to likes to dress up as well as dress down. My choice of friend will be reasonably well-educated and able to chat about lots of different topics in a reasoned manner. I will need someone who has old-fashioned values in some ways who is comfortable to be sociable and equally so to share non-hostile quiet times. When asked about the humour needed, I think I would probably favour someone who can laugh out loud at 70s and 80s TV comedy shows.
