About her
I'm relatively quiet and sometimes shy, but I'm also quite assertive and I like fairness. I prefer quieter activities, perhaps a meal in peaceful surroundings or a night out at the theatre, (whether it be the local am dram society or something professional). I'm also quite content with a night in watching the telly box, depending what's on! I love socialising with my friends, but i'm not the proverbial party animal and choose to be with smaller groups of people.
I try to eat healthily, but I'm partial to the occasional takeaway or meal out and absolutely love very dark chocolate.
My musical tastes are quite varied, encompassing the likes of Eva Cassidy, Linda Ronstadt and George Ezra for a spot of easy listening. I enjoy a mystery/crime book, especially if it has some humour thrown in for good measure. My TV tastes are similar, so I find an easy going mystery like Father Brown a good way to relax. I'm not into soaps, I don't like having to keep track of all the goings on in them!
I've been separated for around 17 years and just never got round to finding anyone else. I've been too busy doing the mum stuff, working and getting on with life in general as you do, so now it would be nice to share time with someone brave enough to take me on.
If you ask me which celebrity would be my ideal man, I'd have to say a mix of Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba and Patrick Stewart. So, not too much to ask then...

My ideal match? Someone, I hope, whose profile doesn't look like it's been copied & pasted from an online template. Do you really all have a glass half full and is that the same glass you enjoy quaffing your 'nice glass of red' from, whilst sitting in front of a log fire after a long country walk? I'm not bothered about your car or that you've circumnavigated the world on a unicycle (unless it's in aid of a good cause.) If you're genuine, honest, funny, kind and know how to treat people with respect, we will get on.
I have some problems with mobility & can't walk long distances or stand for too long. If you have set ideas of perfection and you'd feel embarrassed being seen with a walking-stick wielding woman, please feel free to run in the other direction. It's not like I can run after you is it? But then you're assuming I'd want to. And if you're yet another man who's looking for a woman who's 'just as at home in a pair of wellies as she is in a dress and heels', you're just not my type. I wear neither wellies nor bunion-inducing stilettos, but I can rock a pair of Docs better than anyone half my age.
You must be a non-smoker & an animal lover and someone for whom being a couch potato is a hobby and not a full time occupation. Hopefully you appreciate simpler pleasures in life (toast and marmite for one). I'd quite like a man who can cook, never had one of those before. I'm not a huge fan of beards, but admit that there is a difference between a bit of designer stubble and the full 'been living like a hermit' look! I have no problem with tattoos; I'll show you mine if you show me yours. And the good news is... I really don't like a nice glass of red. So, should we ever have the pleasure of sharing one another's company, you are more than welcome to have the whole bottle to yourself. Just don't expect me to drive you home afterwards.
