About her
January 1st....New year, new profile - well at least an update. After many years caring for my old Dad I now have the opportunity and space in my life to form a relationship and I'm keen to make up for lost time. Although I work part-time I am a freelancer so, more or less, can choose when I work. I'm very happy to reserve time, indeed make time, to spend with a new man exploring likes, dislikes, getting to know what makes him tick. I'm pretty easy going, low maintenance (but the occasional bunch of flowers will always make me smile). Seriously thinking of re-locating, currently exploring Shropshire, but not entirely sure where I will end up!
During lockdown I started sewing - a bit of dressmaking, loads of cushions etc and if it's cold and wet outside I can be occupied with my sewing machine. If the weather is fine I'm likely on the golf course or jogging round the Rec - having taken part in my first Park Run I'd really love to do it again. My knees aren't so keen....
I like all the usual things - theatre, film, good food, country walks, weekends away. I've no great desire to climb mountains or trek through deserts or rainforests, but happy to consider any destination for a holiday. I have a Can Do attitude & would hope for an equally positive partner. Please have a public photo- no photo suggests you have something to hide. Mine are all taken within the last 12 months.

Tall, dark and handsome? Not especially. Taller than me would be good (I'm only 5' 4" so not a problem for many). I don't require an Adonis - a mature characterful face would interest me more. I don't wish to be ageist because none of us are getting any younger, but I'd hope to meet someone with good energy levels, who keeps himself generally fit and healthy.
I'm impressed by quiet confidence, not arrogance. I really don't like someone who needs to be the centre of attention, but don't think I'd be much of a match for someone who is shy or very reserved either. I'm hoping to meet someone to walk beside me and be a partner in crime, to have a meeting of minds and spirit, who will make my heart skip a beat when I see him and leave me looking forward to our next encounter.
