About him
Hi. About me? Just getting used to turning sixty but in my head still in my mid-thirties. Likes – travelling, pubs, eating out, gigs (Blues, rock, world music), practicing my guitar, spending time with friends and relatives. My holidays tend to be activity based, I occasionally go tall ship sailing or generally exploring, I’ve been to quite a few countries and over a few seas (just back from Australia). I read a fair bit, mainly maritime history but enjoy an engaging novel in any genre really. I’ve an easy-going personality and usually make friends fairly easily. I try to be optimistic and see the funny or positive side. I came on here hoping to find a like minded companion and to see what may happen.

I’m hoping to find companionship maybe leading to a closer relationship. I don’t think exactly matching interests are a necessity, contrast makes life interesting, but I’d like to have enough common ground to share enjoyment in activities and conversations.
