About her
Oh dear, this is hard! I never thought I would find myself on a dating site, but since losing my husband, I can see no other way to meet new people! I think, hope, my friends would say I’m friendly and outgoing and interested in people. They would say I’m well spoken and articulate and well presented. They tell me that I really look much younger than my age! I think I’ve got a fair sense of humour. I am very much a family person and absolutely adore my son and daughter along with my four grandchildren, who bring me such joy. I have been very fortunate in that I have travelled a lot with my late husband and hopefully this has made me a more interesting person. I like musical theatre and really enjoy classical music although I would say I am not an expert in this genre. I take a keen interest in politics and lean to ‘starboard’. I voted to remain in the EU and feel that leaving it was a mistake!
Hobbies? Having looked after my husband for 4 1/2 years, he had motor neuron disease, most of my hobbies seemed to disappear through lack of time . I have started having singing lessons again which I thoroughly enjoy. I like walking in the countryside, beside the river or along the seashore. I just want someone to hold my hand so we can enjoy these simple pleasures together. I enjoy going out for lunch and good conversation over a nice meal and a good glass of wine. I think I’m pretty optimistic and metaphorically my glass is always half full rarely half empty! I’ve had a few setbacks at various stages in my life, but I always seem to have got through them.
I appreciate honesty, sincerity and good manners, and I do not like rough behaviour. I’m generous, but cautious and I think I have a lot to offer the right gentleman. I would really like to meet a gentleman who shares my interests, and with whom I could share his, someone who has similar principles and isn’t just out for “fun times “!

I am looking for a kind and considerate gentleman who would treat me as an equal and with respect. Hopefully someone who has a sense of humour and perhaps a widower who would understand what it is really like to loose a precious spouse who was such an important part of their life.
I would like to meet a gentleman who shares similar interests. I really enjoy the theatre and classical concerts. As I am a singer I would love to meet a gentleman who could share this interest if only sitting in the audience. It would be a bonus if they were a singer themselves! I enjoy going on holiday and seeking new adventures. I desperately want to book another holiday but I want to find a gorgeous fun loving chap to accompany me. Solo holidays really are not much fun - I have tried it! It’s always so nice to have something to look forward to.
