About her
I’m a happy fun loving person who adores living. Sadly I lost my darling husband whom
I nursed for a considerable time.
But I need to find that magic again with someone else. I’m well educated and an author, still writing, three cookery books, two very serious books and the sixth on its way! Loving my family, my dog, my garden, painting and fabric design. I adore the opera but need it to be traditional , love a good classical concert, mooching around junk shops and finding new places to visit. My favourite holidays are in Italy where I make an effort to speak, apparently with a good accent but poor grammar - still trying to improve. I’m now more spiritual than religious. And I care desperately for animals hating cruelty of any sort and yes I’m vegan, but super tolerant of those who don’t follow my beliefs. I understand that can worry some. But it’s never a problem these days.
My joy when one of my plants sends out new shoots or the sound of the dawn chorus always fills me with happiness. There must someone who loves the same simple pleasures in life. And I love laughing - maybe just a television program or the theatre. They’re all there to enjoy; much better with someone else sharing the moment. Maybe with hugs or as the welsh say - a cwtch.
My friends say I’m loyal, affectionate, and enthusiastic and I can usually cope with problems- goodness this has been my toughest year and I’m still enjoying creating and now volunteering for a charity which is so rewarding.
