About her
Losing a life partner is tragic but I am hopefully forward looking and positive. Count myself lucky to have had a great marriage, great family and great friends.
I am a retired primary teacher. I lived in the city in my 20s-why wouldn’t you? Moved to a farm in rural Northumberland where I lived for 20 years with my farmer ex and yes ended up shovelling sh*t and lambing ewes at times.
Met my late husband and moved to kent for 15 years where we owned and ran a country pub/ restaurant. On finding myself alone again, moved back to the north east. Love the country life but armed with bus pass I’m now back in the “toon”.
Would like to have some fun and new experiences before I need a Zimmer frame! Play golf badly. Like country walks at leisurely pace usually with rewarding lunch to follow . Enjoy travel and places new. Coffee, lunch, the odd tipple, dining out as well as entertaining friends. Love company and good chat. Be nice to have the company of a like minded individual alongside. Looking back, my partners seem to have all been slightly wacky and, in my eyes, extraordinary. Maybe it’s time for a change…. Or maybe not.
