About him
Who am I?.... has been a very difficult question for me to answer, but over the years, I have known myself to be considerate (but tough when it matters), kind hearted (not foolhardy), intelligent (not brilliant), affectionate (not sentimental), risk-taker (not careless), and loyal (but not blindly).
Whilst most people first impression is that of a calm (but not quiet) and dependable person, I am also sensitive and empathetic. I read a lot (but also play hard). My taste in music varies, but my de facto favourites are Jazz and Classical. Occasionally I ventured into Soul, R&B, rock music, Chinese folk songs, reggae, etc. I strongly believe that the capacity to care is the main thing that gives life its deepest significance.
I look forward to get to know someone new, someone who can touch my life in a positive way to develop a relationship that is based on joint values and principles. I am passionate about living life to its fullest, occupying every minute with activities - enjoying time spend together curled up with a good wine, cooking, watching movies, listening to music or reflecting on the day's events.
I am looking for a person who is genuine, who have a positive attitude to life, a desire to experience new horizons, a person with a generous spirit who is not afraid to take risk, who is honest and emotionally healthy to always do the right things.
I have always been a "We" and a "I" person, never a "You" or a "Me", a subject not an object; I proactively act on things not be acted upon. I have always strive to continually invent the future out of my imagination rather than being a victim of the past.
... And I have always endeavoured to be the person my children look to with pride when they say “This is my dad” and be the one they come for love, comfort and understanding.
