About him
Kind, caring, funny, generous guy, very tactile, a spooner and cuddler, loves family, life in general, history (particularly the Great War), geology (my university subject), astronomy (another of my university subjects), music (plays the piano and did play the classical organ, and would still do if I had the time).... loves good food, wine and beer (I have the best pub just yards from my front door!).... skis, watches rugby union, .... laughs, cries (at soppy films), but not unhinged! Has a library, a shepherds hut, a smallish courtyard garden that overlooks a golf course, and many, many good friends. Has spent years exploring France and Belgium (well I would with my interests! definitely a Francophile)..... has 3 children and one grand-daughter, and a house that has been rebuilt and is almost complete!
Loves being busy, and organised. Been damaged in relationships and have had enough of hurt. I want to be happy once again with an uncomplicated and yet fulfilling (for both parties) relationship, where fun, and personal contentment are at the top of the agenda. My family 'motto' 'Manners Maketh Man' is very important to me. I would like to think I am a gentleman, and pride myself on that.
After 40 years in the Further and Higher Education system I took early retirement and set up a successful part-time coaching and training company which I thoroughly enjoy managing.... I love working with people. I am the part-time Communications Director for a large Charity operating across Norfolk.
I love spending my evenings and weekends snuggling up on a sofa in front of a roaring woodburner (I have a really good one, and a huge store of wood) just talking, listening to music, picking at food, watching a film or a good documentary... and relaxing, with a beer, sipping wine or even a gin and tonic. Also love British pub culture.

Young in outlook.... and definitely glass half full. Lithe, spirited, laughs at anything including herself, knows what she wants in life and goes out to get it, intelligent, stylish (particularly in her clothes, although dressing down is fine), smells divine, excellent manners, speaks well, enjoys walking and occasionally wishes to embrace pub culture, wants to explore the UK and Europe (perhaps further afield), into reading, music and being very tactile (this is important).... holding hands, touching each other, and being very willing to snuggle up on the sofa, and particularly in the winter in front of a roaring wood-burning stove..... has loving children and loves other children.... enjoys my interests, or could grow to like them!
