My friends would describe me as having …..a martini dry sense of humour, slightly introverted, love books and films… a teeny bit eccentric & nerdy as I also read and watch sci-fi. I grew up in farming country so I really do love dogs, cats and horses. Happily child free by choice. Politically left leaning so - no offence- Tory voters need not apply! Like walking, pub lunches, log fires and I am a mad music fan - most genres but love my ‘electronica’(Goldfrapp, New Order, Chemical Bros). I’m certainly not a completely naive idealist but do - still - hold out hope for the human race 😏 If you are looking for well educated, a bit opinionated but kind hearted….?

The big cliche is a great sense of humour but it’s so true. Well educated (either by schooling or by having a continuing curiosity about the world). Possibly well-travelled so hopefully open to the world? Emotionally mature. The ability to communicate your inner thoughts and emotions as well as ideas or information. A hugger. A Youthful outlook (no metaphorical carpet slippers, please!). As happy spending an evening listening to music (and tolerating me bopping round the place) as going out out. Not content to spend every single Friday night sitting in the same pub gazing into a pint, week after week! Deal breaker? Besides dishonesty? I gave up smoking 16 years ago and would struggle to date a smoker now. It smells evil to me now 😖 Aligning values would be very important to me and could be best summed up as I consider myself to be ‘woke’ and proud of it. But I eat meat and don’t eat tofu….🙄
