About him
I am a warm, friendly, companionable person. I have a wide range of - mostly cultural- interests. I go the cinema every week, the theatre at least once a month, as well as operas, musicals, chamber concerts and choral concerts. I try to see every new art exhibition that opens in town, and visit museums regularly.
I also like get out and about to explore (recently, that's very much been around my own country). I enjoy walks in the country and around town (particulalrly with a good pub at the end) and the occasional cycling holiday abroad. I should add that my politics are also important to me - I'm leftish of centre. And family is important too - I spend at least one day a week with my two year old granddaughter (usually at the zoo, which she loves!).

My ideal match would be a gentle, kind and caring soul; very warm and friendly, affectionate and fun. She would be very interested in the arts, in exploring new places and experiences. She would be a good talker, as I'm an avid listener and I love to learn the thoughts, hopes and dreams of others.That to me is the only way to true sharing and intimacy. As for a deal breaker - to be honest, I'm not really into pets (I'm thinking dogs here), or the politics of the right of centre.
