About him
Life's too short to stand still and I would like to try new things, in new places and new adventures with new people.
Spoiler ..... I cant sing, ski and I dance with two left feet. Am happy to cook for you if you sign the disclaimer for any legal action against me for food poisoning.
But I have all my own teeth, not on any medication (except rum which is purely for medicinal purposes), and make a mean cup of tea and happy to augment the sat nav for you. My gardening skills have progressed to distinguishing a weed from a valuable plant (sometimes).
I like rambling, walking my dog or rather, her taking me for a walk, sightseeing and meals out with pleasant company.
I have been known to parachute, climb Ben Nevis/Snowden, been in helicopters, submarines, abseiled, jet skied and dived in Venice harbour. Mentally I think I am about 30, but my body says 'You having a laugh', so have just started going to the gym to teach it a lesson, not to get a six pack, but stay supple.
I recently went part time, with a view to retire in due course, (when ever that may be), from my professional managerial job which I enjoy.
I am quiet, shy and reserved, but that's only when I am not talking. I am sincere, thoughtful, non pretentious, what you see if what you get. I give a little back into the NHS each month by donating my platelets and plasma.
Oh and one last thing, I have a beard in these pictures, but have been know to shave it off and maybe grow it again, like the seasons it comes and goes. Unfortunately the same does not apply to my hair (or lack of).
It would be great if I could find a 'soul mate' to come on holidays/days out - at home and abroad, have a cuddle and whatever adventures that may bring.
