About her
I've been described as effervescent, funny and loyal. At a job interview I was once told I was inner steel in a velvet glove, which was interesting. I guess it's true - I'm open, honest, with inner strength, grit and determination, but also warm and full of humour and affection. I usually seeing the absurd in life. I'm a positive person who likes to try to find a way forward, a compromise or a solution, I put the effort in!
I live in the Cotswolds and love it here, but eventually I'd like to live more remotely, somewhere with the sea and mountains. It would be great to get a place as a joint project with someone I loved being with and enjoy the remoteness and outdoors together, living self sufficiently as much as possible. I do also love the city though and enjoy arriving in a new European city and exploring. I speak German and French and love everything to do with the culture, history and geography of those countries, in particular Germany.
I have a small dog who is very important to me and I take him with me whenever I can. I love going for long walks with him and then settling down with him next to me in the evenings. I guess I'd love to meet another dog owner and we could go on joint dog walking adventures, all the better if they had an interesting old ruin on the way and a cosy pub at the end.
