About her
I'm enjoying having more time on my hands now that my daughters are fully fledged. I'd like to share some of it with a man. Preferably a lively, affectionate, sexy one. The often-elusive chemistry is essential for me but so, equally, is a deep friendship and mutual respect.
I have a lovely circle of close friends and love to entertain at home or go out for meals with them, and yet I miss the intimacy of a relationship, the physical and emotional closeness, conversations over dinner.... Perhaps we could walk, swim in the sea, go paddleboarding, snorkeling. Maybe you could teach me to cycle (not just as a mode of transport which is all I use it for in Cambridge!) and we will hopefully travel together, enjoy meals out or cooking to music and sharing a bottle of wine. Not sure where one even starts. I'm always open to new experiences and I would hope you might be too, as long as that doesn't involve hairpin bends on mountainous roads or shopping. That still leaves a lot to try together though, right? 'Adventure is out there!'
I love to travel, I cook well and am a bit of a foodie. A good deli or Borough Market will keep me endlessly entertained, as would a trip to a culinary village in Umbria (Norcia is one of my 'top of the list' places) or the Midi-Pyrénées. But I just don't know Britain well enough so UK weekends away might be fun. Or maybe exploring a hilltop village in the sunshine abroad.... doing it, whatever 'it' might be, together is more fun.
I would love you to introduce me to some of your interests as well as take part in a few of mine - I'd like to meet someone open to new ideas, perhaps widely travelled too, someone to share the wonder of the world with. Someone who respects equality in all its guises and has compassion for both other people and for animals. I would dearly love to explore India and South East Asia.
