Why should people get to know Mac?
Mac is the nicest, kindest, and most generous person I have ever met. He is considerate, thoughtful, and has a great sense of humour that people love.

What makes him so special?
He helps people daily walking around Birmingham. I think it's because he's no one special in his life, so come on, ladies, say hi to him.

Mac is "really" honest and he'll tell you what you need to hear rather than what you prefer to hear, but most people find that refreshing. If I ask him if my outfit looks nice, he'll tell me if it doesn't and why. He is diagnosed as autistic and has PTSD, but you wouldn't know unless he told you.

His relationship with his two kids is amazing. They love him like a dad, but they all get on like best friends, and I think that's rare and rather beautiful. He is generous to a fault. Literally! He does way too much for others and needs to spend more time on himself and his own (and maybe your) happiness. Again, I think a loving partner would fill that hole. Ladies, seriously, don't miss this man. There are none like him out there.

What makes him tick?
What drives him is helping people. I think he's addicted to it, but in a good way. Being an ex soldier explains why his charity is focused on helping serving members of the armed forces, veterans and their families through his charity when he can. His deep need to do the right thing drives his morals, and that's honourable but can cause issues. My father served with Mac in the army, and I knew him from then. I still call him Mr Mac as I did as a young girl.

Any funny moments to share?
Once, when we were out in Birmingham, a hen party of mature women kidnapped him as a good luck charm and dragged him from bar to bar for over an hour until I helped him escape. I was crying with laughter at their boozy antics, his surprise and awkwardness at all the attention, but in the end, I helped him escape. It's a great story, and I still giggle about it now.
