About her
I’m an active person who loves walking, riding, swimming and scuba (when I get the chance). I am also prone to having lazy days either in the sunshine or in front of a roaring log fire. I have three daughters in their 20’s. The youngest lives with me, has a job and is independent.
I’m an avid Classic FM listener and have it on most of the time. That isn’t to say I don’t like more modern music, I just prefer classical.
Up until fairly recently I played several instruments but as a lone musician living in the countryside I’m afraid I lost enthusiasm. That isn’t to say I couldn’t pick them up again if I met someone who sparked my interest in that area.
I enjoy watching live performances, especially when coupled with a meal and a glass of wine. Im not so keen on dancing… to be honest I’ve never tried.
My friends would describe me as a caring, positive person with a good sense of humour. Whilst Im not the life and soul of the party I do like to join in and have a laugh if appropriate. They would say that I am intelligent and well educated and that I don’t suffer fools gladly. Not rude fools anyway! I love animals and hate cruelty of any description.
When it comes to relaxing I enjoy gardening or sitting in the garden in the sunshine. I enjoy a BBQ and having friends and family round.
All in all life is good. It would be even better with a significant other to share good times with.

My ideal match would be tall and reasonably fit with a kind nature. It would be best, but not crucial, if he shared some of my interests. If he had some of his own which were different that would be fine by me. A practical joker, someone who loves to laugh and can laugh at himself would be wonderful. Someone who is happy in himself and comfortable with animals would be absolutely wonderful!
