About her
I am optimistic in most things (gardening - the summer is going to be great); cooking (good ingredients mean you can’t really go wrong); reading (at least get through the first 50 pages); love (I’m here!).
I am socialist with a small 's' - I like community and contributing to it. I enjoy socialising with friends and family but am also very happy hanging out at home, nurturing my shared garden and allotment, cooking, looking after children and domestic stuff. I harbour a dream of moving to the countryside, building my own own carbon-neutral home, raising chickens and some attractive livestock, flowers and vegetables.... But perhaps the convenience of excellent public transport, quality restaurants, music, theatre and exhibitions will keep me tethered to north London. Who knows?
I have three children and am a lone parent. I've a 16 year old boy at home, a 19-year-old at university half of the time and a 21 year old who graduates this year and will be back in the nest...
I'm a teacher. I love reading, good TV (and a bit of crap) and going to the cinema and theatre, walking in the countryside, a good pub lunch, wild swimming and foreign adventures.
