Haha, edit mode here, just changed my age to the current one, 68 and noticed my use of fascinating, I hope it's obvious that that's a mixture of self deprecation and irony, or something.
Happy to travel, art galleries rather than the beach, local walks and bike rides a speciality. Equally happy to snuggle on the sofa watching Channel and BBC 4 and the like. And then there’s Art House Cinema and the Theatre, and possibly The Ballet and Opera, well, maybe…
What else can one type here, I’m on my laptop, I’d rather chat on the phone but do understand the tooing and froing process required!
Oh yes, I’ve yet to use my recently acquired extra Irish passport, so train journeys beckon. I’ve flown loads but find the view out of the window a bit too distant, plus, see those queues… And then there’s the environment, such as it is at the moment…
As I understand it, this web dating is a safe way to establish ones personality, hopes and dreams etc and then actually chat on the phone, and then, gadzooks, even actually meet up for a coffee or walk etc.
And all these profile words, hopes, descriptions, well I do like to go on, but I can listen, just have to be reminded to shut up!
Let’s hope that happens then, and leads to champagne etc!

Well, I'm happy to describe myself but it seems a bit presumptuous to be specifying here... suffice to say I hope we'll overlap in our interests and more and will be able to tell if we get on well enough without any Artificially Intelligent input, thank you very much haha!
