About him
Having worked in the leisure industry both abroad and in the UK has given me the opportunity to acquire a wide and structured outlook on people and lifestyles I am widowed and have 2 grown-up children and 4 grandchildren, we are close but lead separate lives. I still play golf but these days only when the sun is on my back. Sport is important to me, unfortunately, only watching these days. My political views have changed over the years and these days tend to differ on the topic. At this stage in one's life, it is important to take advantage of what life has taught you, thereby making the most of it. As this is not a "cv" or obituary (Not yet anyway), I hope that what you see is what you get.

For somebody who has an open mind, who is prepared to agree and disagree on any range of subjects without malice. Life is too short.

There is nothing better than to share a meal, book, film, tv, theatre production, or place, and then discuss their merits, over a beverage of choice. At this stage in our lives, honesty is the greatest virtue.
My ideal would be "Would you like to go for a coffee/tea, lunch, dinner, film, theatre a visit to the country or even go on holiday", I went on my own this year, it had a number of plusses but it also had a number of minuses!!!!!!
