I am kind, caring, genuine and good hearted, and these are attributes that I value in others. I come from a family of walkers and really enjoy walking and being in the countryside.
I love going to the cinema and the theatre - seeing dramas/comedians/musicals etc; playing card games and board games; coffee/tea and chats; playing badminton; spending time with family and friends; travelling in the UK and abroad but also just being at home. I do quite a bit of my own DIY when I can and enjoying painting - rooms not pictures, as my artistic talents are somewhat limited!
I am not a big fan of watching lots of sport in person, or on the tv, but I do love a good crime drama and films/series based on true events. I am very interested in history and am always fascinated to learn new things. I usually have several books on the go when I get chance to read.
I always try to focus on the positive side of life and am open to pushing myself out of my comfort zone to give new things a try, although I definitely draw the line at bungee jumping!
I am quite independent and although happy to be divorced, I do miss being part of a caring and supportive partnership.
