Not long relocated to a place in the country and only partially to escape the kids 😉 ! Great walking, a lively and excellent village pub/restaurant and closer to my nonagenarian parents were the better reasons.
Still keen to see as much of the world as possible, with recent trips having been to Beirut, Tbilisi, into the Sahara, Nepal, Vietnam, and just back from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. But prefer not to travel on my own.
Will travel distances to see good comedy, theatre, live music and watch sport. Good food and drink are also high on the list, and am much happier with a fish slice than a screwdriver or a trowel!
Had a couple of reminders recently that life is to be lived. Would love to find a partner to share that with !
