Happy, active, lively, energetic, curious young at heart gent, lots of interests, culture vulture, gastronome, traveller, comfortably solvent, looking to share experiences and new adventures, and maybe more. Most of my friends are in their 50s or early 60s. Share my time between Nottingham (West Bridgford) and the Norfolk Broads. Some might say that I have the capacity to be interesting, articulate, good company and fun loving. Music degree, music arranger and active pianist/accompanist, enjoy all music in particular classical, opera and jazz, involved with community choirs, volunteering. Bake bread and cakes regularly. Love anything outdoors - cycling, hiking, watching sport. Politically left leaning and supporter of human rights, BLM, anti racism, diversity, social justice. I try to be tolerant, sympathetic, open minded, generous, supportive, and my wife used to say that I have (a degree of) emotional intelligence. Damned with faint praise! Had a great marriage, fortunate to have a wonderful family (3 grown up boys, 2 pesky granddaughters) and good friends, but need the stimulation and companionship of a (preferably sassy) partner to enjoy life to the full again.
