Hi. I accept, what you're about to read, will make 99% of readers pass me over. I am a married man whose wife has early onset Alzheimer's disease. Over seven years since diagnosis.
For those still reading, I assume you've been touched by AD and may have some appreciation of the journey I and my family are on.
It's a lonely journey, living with a partner with AD. Most don't realise that Dementia is a life limiting disease and is now the biggest killer in the UK.
I'm really just looking for someone to message or chat with occasionally, maybe in similar circumstances, who isn't looking for a traditional relationship.
From a personal perspective, I just need a slither of hope in my life, a light on the future horizon, that when the time comes and I'm ready to move on, I'll find a special someone to share our golden years.
