My ideal time out is: spending time in the garden, a gig, reading the paper, a festival, walking with the dog, dinner out, a real ale pub or bar with friends.
Alternative weekends out include:
++ A festival with dancing and live music but with time to read back at camp
++ A walk (part of a named walk perhaps) - but not too edgy (don't even THINK about Striding Edge!!) - happy to walk for ages though.
++ An interesting new location - UK or Abroad - not too much lounging on the beach - more people watching, museums, galleries etc
++ A weekend in the campervan with friends, lots of laughter, some beer, outdoors
