People say I'm sociable and fun to be with and it's true that I like to converse, especially over coffee or a drink and often about books, films, plays. I love to amble on the beach or in the country or curl up with a book beside a fire and read.
I like to write - it's how I used to make my living - and play with dogs, cats, horses. I would like to learn to handle a boat, to learn to drive, to swim, and - being a glass half full kind of person - believe that I will, once I get the time.
I would like to meet someone who will share the fun, and not-so-fun things in life with me, who will be a partner to me as I would hope to be to him.
